The Christian Church of Pacific Grove was organized as a congregation on April 22, 1894 by a small group of Christian women from Pacific Grove who had been members of the Christian Church in other places. It is a spiritual sanctuary for the thinking Christian. The church is a member of the oldest mainline Protestant denomination founded on American soil - the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
