Elegant and charming, the Pine Inn is a full-service hotel that also features Il Fornaio, an award-winning, authentic Italian restaurant. Located in the heart of Carmel-By-The-Sea, the Pine Inn was built in 1889 and has been tastefully updated. However, such features as Pierre Deux fabrics and period reproduction furniture in the rooms recall its heritage. The lobby and restaurant have been totally remodeled in the last year with the finest in furnishings. Many rooms have ocean views, and we have a separate suite area with six different room configurations. The Pine Inn can also accommodate small meetings and banquets. The Pine Inn is now 100% non smoking.
