Centrally located in California's best preserved Gold Rush town, the City Hotel offers guests the comfort of 10 beautifully restored, antique appointed rooms with the added pleasures of a wonderful dining room and the friendly, historic What Cheer Saloon. Each room has a half bath and guests are supplied with a wicker basket containing all the necessities for the short walk down the hall to the shower room. A generous buffet breakfast is served consisting of fresh baked breads, muffins, cereal, yogurt, quiche, orange juice and our own houseblend of coffee.
