This community is located northwest of
Santa Ana off Interstate 405. Westminster was founded as a temperance colony by the Presbyterian Reverend Lemuel P. Webber in 1870 with his purchase of 6,000 acres of the Stearns Rancho. The City was incorporated in 1957.
There is also a Westminster, Maryland.
