Founded in 1974, William Hill Winery produces premium varietal estate Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. The winery also produces Sauvignon Blanc, and Merlot. Two different Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay wines are made; a Reserve and a Napa Label of each varietal. Reserve wines are made from the grapes grown on the hillside vineyards. A significant portion of the Reserve blend is held back every year to form the backbone of the Napa Label wines, which are then augmented with wines from neighboring vineyards. William Hill Winery is open for tasting and tours by appointment only. Tasting appointments are $5.00 per person depending on tasting selection. The Aura Experience Tasting is $20.00 per person, dates and times vary.

All year Satellite Wagering, Waterworld USA, Paradise Island Fun Center and an RV Park are just a few of the features of the Cal Expo.The first State Fair was held in 1854 in San Francisco at the old Music Hall. The fair offered premiums (prizes) for its competitions and included such agricultural exhibits such as 2-inch-long peanuts, 72-pound beets and a 10-pound carrot that was longer than 3 feet. Horseracing was part of that first fair and has continued to be a part of the fair ever since.
