Williams is located in
Colusa County north of
Sacramento between Clearlake and Yuba City along Highway 20 near the
Sacramento River. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 2,911, an increase of 614 since 1990.
There is also a Williams, Iowa.Willits is the "Solar Energy Capital of the World".It was named after Hiram Willits,a settler.
