Willows is located in
Glenn County, of which it is the county seat, near the Stony Gorge Reservoir and the
Sacramento River.
The county seat of Glenn County, Willows is just off Interstate 5, along the Glen Colusa Canal.
It is about midway between Red Bluff and Sacramento. Chico lies to the Northeast, but is not directly connected to Willows by a major highway.
