Bounded by Freeport and
Riverside boulevards, the park cover 600 acres and includes picnic facilities and a golf course.
Sacramento Zoo, at the corner of Sutterville Road and Land Park Drive, exhibits more than 350 animals, including Asian lions, Siberian tigers, Grevy zebras, African cheetahs, and chimpanzees. A reptile house maintains 53 species in 60 exhibits.
Fairytale Town on Sutterville Road across from the zoo is a two and a half acre park with sets based on children's rhymes.
