Woodson Bridge State Recreation Area is nestled in oak woods flanking on both sides of the
Sacramento River. Fishing is popular of king salmon, steelhead, striped bass, and blue gill. Birdwatcher can see geese, ducks, herons, jays, quail, owls, hawks, falcons, pheasant and many others.
The west bank has a boat-in campsite and the east shore has a 41-site campground.
The site is wheelchair accessible.
