Wrightwood is located in San Bernardino County. Wrightwood, a town without a traffic light, sits at an elevation 6,000 feet. Located only 15 miles off Interstate 5, the town sits at the end of one of the "easiest mountain drives" in Southern California.

Originally inhabited by Serrano Indians, Wrightwood evolved into a cattle ranch, apple orchard, then finally into a quiet mountain resort community.
