Lake Sonoma Winery is nestled in the hills of beautiful Dry Creek Valley, offering a perfect setting for weddings and corporate events. This contemporary winery is located on a 20-acre hillside estate and features an 8,700 square foot observation deck that boasts a panoramic view of the entire Dry Creek Valley. The winery also features a barrel room, which is illuminated by a myriad of candles offering an intimate, romantic setting for an evening or winter event. Specializing in Zinfandels from various Dry Creek vineyards, the winery also sources fruit from neighboring Russian River Valley and Alexander Valley to contribute to the excellent quality of its Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. At present, the winery produces 10,000 cases of premium varietals.

California Exposition & State Fair Sacramento CA June12-28 The Cal Expo is the site of the California State Fair. All year Satellite Wagering, Waterworld USA, Paradise Island Fun Center and an RV Park are just a few of the features of the Cal Expo.The first State Fair was held in 1854 in San Francisco at the old Music Hall. The fair offered premiums (prizes) for its competitions and included such agricultural exhibits such as 2-inch-long peanuts, 72-pound beets and a 10-pound carrot that was longer than 3 feet. Horseracing was part of that first fair and has continued to be a part of the fair ever since.
