It only takes three hours to recapture the sights and sounds of a working steam locolotive on
Yreka's own 102 year old historic shortline railroad.
"The Blue Goose" tourist excursions take passengers through the majestic areas around Mount Shasta, past the Old Chinese cemetary and through a working sawmill and wood processing plants. The depot was built in 1910 and houses a 1000 square foot model railroad display.
The tours are available June through September.
