Yucca Valley is located in San Bernardino Count east of San Bernadino between Desert Hot Springs and Twentynine Palms along Highway 62 near Palm Springs and the Joshua Tree National Forest.

Yucca Valley is part of the Riverside-San Bernardino, California metro area.
