Zazu is a roadhouse restaurant surrounded by 150 of Sonoma County’s acclaimed wineries. At Zazu, the decor is playful Americana and rustic Northern Italian-inspired.
Examples of their four-season menus are jingle bell peppers - housemade fennel sausage, fennel marmalade for autumn; hog island oysters on the half shell - fennel pomegranate salsa for winter; blue lake beans - slow roasted chioggia beets, creme fraiche vinaigrette for spring; and poppyseed crusted softshell crab - ruby grapefruit, avocado, and poppyseed dressing for summer. A dessert example is green apple and prosecco fritters with maple crème fraiche.
