The Bachelor-Syracuse Mine is a 3,350-foot shaft drilled horizontally into Gold Hill, where some $90 million worth of silver and $8 million worth of gold have been obtained. Warm clothing is recommended as the mine temperature is 52 degrees Fahrenheit.
