This world-famous museum is one of the largest of its kind in the country. Exhibits include 95 dioramas featuring birds and mammals, gems and minerals, and even Egyptian Mummies. Other musuem highlights include the Prehistoric Journey exhibition, featuring fossils, skeletons, and scientists at work in the fossil lab; the Gates Planetarium, and an IMAX theater. The museum is open daily; closed Christmas Day.
