A torrent of white water comes bursting out between the shoulders of two stately rock guardians, surrounded by thick evergreens, and pounds its way down the rocks over a hundred feet. Fish Creek Falls Road is easily found at the south end of Steamboat Springs. Two trails access views of the falls: one is paved with asphalt for wheelchair access, and goes 1/8 mile to an overlook. The second is a dirt trail through the picnic area to a bridge across the cascades below the falls.
