Fruita is located just west of
Grand Junction, and just east of the Utah state line, on I-70.
Highline State Park and the
Colorado National Monument are nearby. With a population of about 6,500 and a rich cultural backdrop, Fruita has become one of the fastest growing towns in Colorado. Fruita is a favorite for mountain bikers, and features the annual Fruita Fat Tire Festival.
