Glenwood Springs

The Glenwood Springs area has been popular since American Indians discovered the hot mineral springs and natural vapor caves that are still attracting visitors. Known as a stylish spa during the mining boom days of the old west, the town brought in wealthy patrons that included the likes of Doc Holliday. Today, visitors will find the gunfighter's grave in nearby Lynnwood Cemetery.

Glenwood Hot Springs Pool is more than 100 years old and is the world's largest. Other interesting natural features abound in the area, such as Glenwood Canyon, Spouting Rock Creek, Bridal Veil Falls, and Glenwood Caverns & Fairy Caves - rated as one of the top ten caves in the United States.
