Holly

Holly is located in Prowers County near the Kansas border. The town was established as a ranching center, after an infantry volunteer arrived in the area with 1,300 head of cattle and established a ranch that eventually became one of the world's largest cattle ranches. Today, farming is a big part of the lifestyle in Holly, with local farms harvesting wheat, cantaloupe, and corn.
