Kit Carson

Kit Carson takes its name from the historic legendary figure of the 19th century. Farming, cattle ranching, and oil are the main industries in the area. Several old buildings in town, including an old pool hall and pumphouse, are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Kit Carson is located in Cheyenne County.
