Loveland Ski Area

Located entirely on the Arapahoe National Forest, Loveland features 1,365 skiable acres, with a vertical drop of 2,410 feet. Skiers and boarders looking for more aggressive terrain are likely to show up at Loveland Basin, where steeps, bumps and glades team up with wide open bowls to please any member of the family. Beginners enjoy the feel of a separate base area with milder slopes at Loveland Valley . First-time Ski School starts here, where adults and children can comfortably learn on wide, gentle terrain, away from more advanced enthusiasts.

Reaching an altitude of 12,700 feet, Lift # 9at Loveland is the highest four-passengerlift in the world.
