The Leadville National Fish Hatchery is the second oldest Federal hatchery operated by the Fish and Wildlife Service of the U.S. Department of the Interior. It was established in 1889, and breeds rainbow, brown, lake, brook and cutthroat trout. Picnic tables and nature trails are available.
