Peterson Air and Space Museum preserves and portrays aviation and space history of Colorado Springs and the military base. The collection features 16 aircraft, 4 missiles, replica of McDonnell Douglas Air-2A Genie rocket, satellites, uniforms, exhibits on WW II prisoners of war in Germany, and present day model aircraft. The museum also operates a gift shop and a theater with many titles and topics to choose from.
