Sweet Edge, founded in 2001 by Kim Olson, is a contemporary dance company which aims to create and perform innovative dance, serving diverse audiences, performances and events, and employing traditional stage venues and site specific spaces. Collaborations with others from a myriad of artistic disciplines are incorporated, with an emphasis on bestowing new dimensions to dance. It operates on the principle that movement is an innate form of human expression, and that by investigating and making accessible the breadth of movement possibility and configuration, it is possible to communicate and explore the beauty, wonder, and uncertainty inherent in the journey of humanity.
