Colorado Mountain Adventures Inc. Outfitters operates in a huge basin lying under the rim of the Grand Mesa in the Grand Mesa National Forest. It offers archery, muzzleloader, and rifle hunts for elk, deer, antelope, and bear. All hunting is done on foot or by horseback. The hunting area is a primitive, wilderness, and road less area consists of approximately 28 square miles. The base camp has large wall tents with wood or propane heat. It is fully guided with a maximum of 2 hunters per guide, or self guided. The unguided drop camp is provided with propane stoves, lanterns, cots and/or sleeping pads, and dishes. Fishing, horseback riding, hiking, and photography are other activities.
