Cross D Bar Trout Ranch

This is a working cattle ranch with recreational facilities in the middle of the ranch. These facilities consist of 4 small, spring fed, crystal clear lakes, a variety of accommodations ranging from an RV park to a deluxe tipi to cabins to a Ranch Guest House, a small store equipped with rental fishing gear and lots of hiking and mountain biking.Trout fishing is a specialty with 6 wild species, including one lake reserved for catch & release fly fishing for trophies. The scenery is spectacular with the Sangre De Cristo mountain range with its six 14,000 foot peaks. The ranch is at an elevation of 9300 feet and enjoys numerous elk, deer and antelope. The ranch can arrange horseback riding and world class white water rafting on the Arkansas River all within minutes of the ranch. The ranch is normally very quiet, uncrowded and a great place to relax and unwind.
