The Historic Hotel Eastin will charm you with it's original woodwork, art deco light fixtures and eclectic mix of furniture. Built in 1906 to house a sarsaparilla plant and bottling works,the upstairs housed eight boarding house rooms. Lum Eastin purchased the property in 1913. He added on wings in 1933 to turn it into a 'modern hotel' that was immensely popular with the traveling salesmen and railroad travelers of the day. The hotel was in the Eastin family until 1995, when innkeepers Charles and Marlys Egge purchased it. The Egge's have lovingly renovated the property while keeping it's turn of the century charm and reputation for immaculate, 'homey' rooms.Escape the 'cookie-cutter' sameness of modern motels to enjoy a step back to a simpler day!!!
