UConn Home & Garden Education Center

UConn Home and Garden Education Center is a part of the University of Connecticut Plant Science Department in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. The Center is designed to meet the needs of an increasingly sophisticated audience by providing accurate, thorough and timely information on a wide variety of issues. The goal of the Center is to be a highly respected and visible educational outreach program to the citizens of Connecticut. Home horticulture, entomology, food safety, drinking water, septic system management, family financial management, soil testing, lead poisoning and indoor air quality are some of the topics addressed.
