Located on the Connecticut College campus in 1931, the arboretum has seven hundred fifty acres with hundreds of species of indigenous shrubs and trees. The exhibits include native plants, the wildflower garden, the Caroline black garden and the greenhouse. Adjacent to Bolles Wood, a hemlock forest. Trails wind through the arboretum. Guided and self-guided tours. The park is open daily, dawn until dusk.
