Hebrew Health Care was founded in 1901 as a charitable organization providing shelter and care for needy older adults. It comprises three service affiliates: Hebrew Home and Hospital, SummerWood at University Park, and Hebrew Community Services. Through these affiliates, Hebrew offers long term care, assisted living, home health care, and adult day centers, as well as short term rehabilitation for adults of any age and a complete continuum of care to older residents of the Greater Hartford community.
