SJ Ranch in
Ellington is a family run riding camp for girls aged 7-15. Campers ride twice daily, in three large rings, on wooded trails or over cross-country jumps.
Its certified instructors provide expert teaching in English riding at all levels, match mounts, and lesson plans to suit the ability of the individual. It teaches proper equitation, the basics of jumping, and dressage. The girls also enjoy practising drill manoeuvres and Western bareback riding, and even swimming with the horses.
