Fairfield University was founded by the Jesuits in 1942, this is an independent, Roman Catholic Jesuit coeducational institution. There are 4 undergraduate and 5 graduate schools. Degrees are offered up to the Masters Degree and Certificate for Advanced Study. The 200-acre campus is in a suburban area 60 miles northeast of New York City. There are over 100 organizations and clubs on campus. Tours are available through the admissions office.
