The Homestead Inn |
This historic Victorian inn was initially built by John Treadwell as his residence in 1853. It was established as the Homestead Inn, with six rooms, in 1928. Ten years later, another building was added as a restaurant. In 1955 the restaurant was converted to the main building, with eight rooms. A two-room cottage suite is attached to the main building. All fifteen rooms have private bath, a/c and cable television. The common areas feature two fireplaces, antiques, and the work of several local artists.
