The Hospice Program of the New Milford VNA provides home care for terminally ill persons with a prognosis of six months or less who wish to spend their last days in the comfort of their own home. The goal is to provide palliative care and a sense of worth and dignity to patients and their families. Services include pain and symptom management, skilled nursing, pharmaceutical, nutrition, pastoral care, and family counseling.
