Comments: Our family stands with dropped jaws at the lack of proper care and actual number of mistakes made with our grandfather who first came to St. Francis after falling with a broken hip. The ER was filthy when we went in and watched how they didn't clean the room for the guy that took our room next. Pain is NOT NOT NOT mangaged. Bed sore developed to improper rotation, nursing staff was rude, lacking in compassion, with out adequate knowledge about what was going on and medications were left out all over for anyone to grab or move to the wrong table outside patient rooms. I would NEVER AGAIN want for myself or my family care from this institution of neglect and death to attempt to care for my family. Since then we have had 34 other people contact us similar stories that include death. We are toying with going to the press. Not to mention they are NOT treating seniors well at all. I was told by a nurse, "He is 81 fu@#*!& years old just let him go already" He went in with a broken hip.
