The Rehabilitation Services Department of The Stamford Hospital provides comprehensive rehabilitation services to improve functional abilities and quality of life for those in need, as a result of an illness or injury. The Rehabilitation Department's goal is to provide a quality care with equipment and programs designed to meet our community's needs in a caring, cost effective manner. Our goal is to maximize independence in self-care, to facilitate adjustment to disability and return to home, community and work, and to enable individuals to live at the highest degree of social and physical independence.

Services provided include Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Rehabilitation Medicine and Nursing, Case Management, Psychology, Prosthetics and Orthotics, Social Work, Nutrition Services and Pastoral Care.
