The First Baptist Church encourages hands-on involvement with a variety of mission projects. These include local missions with the Wallingford emergency shelter, state-wide help to the East Killingly Baptist Church, national work with a West Virginia project, and international ministries in La Romana, and Dominican Republic and Las Cayes, Haiti. It has worship on Sundays and runs an all ages Sunday school.
