Avon Congregational Church

The mission of the Avon Congregational Church is to enable people to know God and to live as Jesus Christ taught and lived. Its services include worship services, church school, fellowship hour, and union services.

Ten miles west of Hartford, at the foot of Avon Mt., is where the church is situated in Hartford County. The Meeting House, which was built in 1819, is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
