Founded in 1920, this is an independent comprehensive institution offering undergraduate programs in arts and sciences, business, engineering, public safety, and professional studies. Graduate programs offer the Master's Degree in a range of disciplines. The 73-acre campus is in a suburban area 5 miles west of New Haven.
Fraternities, sororities and over 40 clubs and organizations are on campus. Tours are available.
