This lovely English Manor was built in 1929 by author George Weston and is listed in Plainfield's Historic Preservation. Our Bed & Breakfast features two spacious guest rooms, each with an Italian Style fireplace and a private bath. Each room also features Welsh tile floors and central courtyard views. A complimentary hearty country breakfast is served in the dining room. The library is a wonderful area where guests enjoy reading and relaxing. Unwinding by the library's fireplace completes your escape. The sunroom, surrounded by nine windows, provides another atmosphere to relax. We offer the best of two worlds since we are in a rural setting, but are located just 15 minutes from Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Casinos, 1.5 hours from Boston, and 3 hours from New York city. We are a short distance away from the Connecticut and Rhode Island seacoasts.
