Jaleo

This lively Spanish bistro-style restaurant specializes in "tapas", the widely varying small dishes that you can order to compile a meal. The beet, walnut, bleu cheese and endive salad is delicious. Other highlights include their grilled steak entree, sauteed garlic shrimp, and garlic mashed potatoes.

The staff are very friendly, and there's live flamenco dancing at the downtown Jaleo's (there's another Jaleo's in Bethesda), on Wednesdays.
