Search Washington DC

Located in the heart of the city this upscale Asian-inspired restaurant was designed with the help of a Feng Shui master. Prior to opening, the owners went to Asia looking for artifacts that reflect the unique heritage of each country. One such item is a seventeenth-century black Buddha with gold leaf from Bangkok.

Food specialties of each country were also sampled. For spice lovers, TenPenh's appetizers and entrees can be seasoned to bring a flush of perspiration. For a gentler start, try the Shrimp and Pork Spring Rolls with three dipping sauces. Traditional meat eaters will enjoy the Grilled Beef Tenderloin with Portobello, Wasabi Mashed Potatoes, and Oyster Mushroom Sauce or the Grilled Lamb Chops with Asian Pesto Crust, Crisp Noodle Cake and Tamarind Lamb Jus. One of the many tasty desserts consists of three miniature Crme Brles--Mango, Crystallized Ginger and Kona Coffee.
