Kalmar Nyckel Foundation

Located on East Seventh Street, adjacent to Swedes Landing. The Kalmar Nyckel was the ship that brought the first European settlers to establish a permanent settlement in the Delaware Valley in 1638. The Kalmar Nyckel shipyard contains a complex of historical, cultural and educational facilities and offers guided tours of the shipbuilding facilities.

Open Monday through Saturday 10am-4pm, Sunday noon-4pm; closed holidays.
