This complex includes the Burton-Ingram House (c. 1800)- a home of hand-hewn timbers, cypress shingles, and beautiful antiques; Rabbits Ferry House (c. 1789)- the low wing is an 18th century farmhouse with original, untouched paneling, period piece s, and a Classic Revival privy out back; Thompson Country Store- built in Thompsonville, Del., in 1800 and operated by the Thompsons as a country store until 1962; Plank House- an early Swedish log cabin furnished as an early settler's cabin that may be the oldest building now standing in Lewes, and the Doctor's Office (c. 1850)- a medical and dental museum. All of the buildings here have been moved to the site and restored to preserve the character of "Old Lewes".
