Brighton is Britain's most popular seaside town, located in Sussex just an hour away from London by train.Brighton has a thriving nightlife, including the largest gay club on the south coast, a large student population and numerous restaurants, pubs and cafes. Tourists enjoy visiting the early 19th century Royal Pavillion and the Brighton Museum & Art Gallery, which is free. Annually in May, Brighton hosts the largest arts festival outside of Edinburgh for three weeks.
