Historic Queen Anne town house built in 1708 and home of Thomas Carlyle, 1834-1881. Contains furniture, books, portraits and personal relics. Open March 30- end October, Wed-Sun and Bank Holiday Monday; closed Good Friday and during the Christmas period. Opening times subject to change.
