Combe Sydenham is a privately-owned estate, located in a hidden Exmoor valley. Visitors can tour part of the house and gardens; history is related by several characters, including a storytelling dragon. The scenic 500-acre estate may be explored, providing not only a view of this beautiful portion of unspoiled countryside, but a glimpse of the large herd of fallow deer which are in residence. Country Park open daily April 1 to September 30; guided tours of West Wing of Hall, gardens and corn mill, Mon, Wed, Thurs mid-April to end of September.
