Cabaret Mechanical Theatre is a museum of automata, mechanical sculpture, robots, animatronics, toys, art, and fun which was located in Covent Garden, London until very recently. Nearly all of the work in the theatre is humourous. As well as the smaller machines in the theatre, there are about 20 coin-operated, larger scale pieces. Also a shop selling handmade automata, mechanical wooden kits and card cutouts, books and videos. The exhibition is currently closed for restoration; travelling exhibitions are sponsored.
