Visitors can take guided tours of the beautifully preserved Dove Cottage, the home of William Wordsworth from 1799-1808. The garden is also open, as weather allows. The Wordsworth Museum displays a unique collection of his manuscripts, books and paintings. Special exhibitions and events are sponsored throughout the year.
